Things haven’t changed a bit.
Her heels clacking gently against the concrete of the road of the Samegawa flood plains. She walked these roads everyday to and from school. Whenever she stepped it reminded her of the nights when her sister, father, and mother, when she was alive, would pick flowers and smile and laugh. Acting as a family.
Today was a rather different though. She saw a man, not just any man, the man who worked for her father. He was on the grass, he looked rather tired and worn out, as of he hadn’t seen light for sometime. Sai had always thought this man was a funny man. He had to be to put up with Saikun’s father. “Adachi-San?” she called out in curiosity.
She stepped down onto the grass off the pavement, her cute suade black heeled boots didn’t sink into the grass today like always. She stepped carefully down and stood next to Adachi, her small skirt swaying in the soothing zephyr. She awaited his reply looking in the distance. A light shade of red, very faint, rested upon her cheeks. She never spoke to Adachi without her father around. Was this okay?n
Adachi turned hearing his beam “Huh?” He looked around for a moment before his eyes locked onto Sai. He sputtered for a moment unsure if he should stand or offer her to sit with him. Doing a weird bit of both he tried to stand and patted a spot next to him. “Ah! Sai! H-Hello! Care to join me?” Adachi paused before looking a bit confused. “What brings you out here?” He tried to make some sort of idle conversation rubbing the back of his head.

Adachi sighed as he collapsed down to the ground at the Samegawa flood plains. He’d been gone for a few weeks, or well rather loaded with work and papers. Not to mention stress. Huffing he raised his hands before letting them drop down onto his face with a loud slap. “Owwww.” Adachi groaned sitting up. He leaned back on his free hand and used his other to rub his face. Things seemed a bit boring today. Well, at least it had to him, it was the first day in awhile he was actually out and about instead of being stuck inside the office or his home. It was kinda nice none the less.
